Thank you for your interest in the Rush activities of the Gamma-Sigma Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity. The men of Sigma Pi are committed to a strong tradition of quality individuals joining together in the fraternity during their collegiate lives and years thereafter following the high ideal as set forth in the Sigma Pi Creed. Being a member of Sigma Pi automatically gives you the distinction of being different. Our Fraternity desires those wishing to become outstanding members of Sigma Pi and leaders of their communities. With the assistance of the Fraternity and the ambition that young men in Sigma Pi hold, we hope that every member gains the utmost from not only this Fraternity but also from his college experience.
Why should you Rush Sigma Pi?
Brotherhood
The brotherhood of Sigma Pi is a rich and rewarding experience. In this day and age it is remarkable to find a group of individuals who can be so diverse and yet be so close through the bond of brotherhood that is ever present in Gamma-Sigma Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity.
Scholarship
Academic life is very important to the men of Sigma Pi. Through hard work and dedication we pursue lofty goals of academic excellence individually and as a fraternity. The University of Missouri has a strong academic tradition and the men of Sigma Pi are proud to be a part of this scholarly community.
Diversity
The brothers of the Gamma-Sigma chapter of Sigma Pi pride ourselves on the diversity of our membership. We understand that the differences between each of our brothers help us to be a unique group of men who although very dissimilar at times, can live and work together for the betterment of each of us during our collegiate lives.
Character
Character is a very important thing for the brothers of Sigma Pi. We believe that through our time in the fraternity we can learn valuable leadership, moral, and professional traits that will help us to be better citizens and individuals throughout our lives. The experience that we gain from being a part of this fraternity is remarkable and helps us to develop ourselves to our fullest potential. The University of Missouri has much more to offer its students than that which is learned in the classroom. Membership in Sigma Pi is just one way to begin to understand this. I hope that you will strongly consider Sigma Pi and all it has to offer. I look forward to meeting you and your parents in the coming months.
Sincerely,
Aaron Hale President
